China SAFe DAY 2022 is coming

Summit introduction

SAFe Day (China Scaled Agile Conference) is the world’s top scale agile summit, initiated by SAI (Scaled Agile Inc), the official organization of scaled agile, co-hosted by SAI and Scrum Chinese website.

The 2022 SAFe Day will be held in Shanghai on November 5th, and the preparations for the conference are currently in full swing.

Wonderful review of previous conferences

2021 China SAFe DAY and the 2nd China Scaled Agile Summit ended successfully on November 21 in Shanghai. This conference is co-hosted by Scrum Chinese Network and SAI, focusing on the theme of building an agile enterprise and winning in the digital age. The content covers business agility, hardware agility, large-scale software agility and DevOps, and large-scale agile transformation. The conference invited front-line large-scale agile transformation leaders from industries such as finance, automobiles, new energy, medical care, FMCG, and Internet technology, as well as well-known international and domestic experts to bring you successful cases and practical experience in building agile enterprises in various industries. Nearly 300 participants from more than 50 companies attended the conference.

Opening of the conference and keynote speeches at the main venue

At 9:00, the conference officially started. Mr. Liao Jingbin, founder of Scrum Chinese Network & Leangoo, Mr. Dean Leffingwell, founder of SAFe, and Ms. Xue Mei, head of SAI China, made opening speeches.

At the beginning of the speech, Mr. Inbar Oren, a SAFe methodologist and main contributor to the SAFe framework, remotely shared “Operating Your Enterprise with SAFe–Going Beyond the Transformation” and interacted with the on-site participants.

Mr. Chen Junhao, head of the Internet of Vehicles business of Porsche (Shanghai) Digital Technology, shared the theme of “Driven by Dreams: The Porsche Lean-Agile Transformation Journey Scaling in China”.

Then Agile Transformation Leaders Ms. Nimisha Vekariya and Mr. Mikael Gustavsson from Volvo shared their valuable corporate experience “The Agile Journey at Volvo Cars: How Volvo Cars became full scaled agile with Product Development”.

In this conference, we have also added a new form of conference – round table conference. Mr. Chen Junhao, business leader from Porsche, Mr. Guo Qiang, general manager of Siemens Medical X-ray Products Division, Mr. Li Wei, CTO of Ctrip Hotel, Mr. Fang Xue, director of product and market operation of Megvii Technology, Mr. Liao Jingbin, founder of Scrum Chinese website and Scrum Mr. Wang Qingfu, a senior agile coach at Chinese.com, had a heated discussion on the topic of “Agile Discussion – How to Lead Large-Scale Agile Transformation” and was warmly welcomed by the audience.

This year’s SAFe Day will continue the style of previous years, inviting companies from all walks of life to implement large-scale agile to share and discuss the application methods and practical experience of SAFe in different industries and different types of organizations. We also encourage everyone to spread the successful practices of enterprises to more organizations, help the industry to make progress together, realize organizational agility, and strive to be ahead of the VUCA era.
